LA Pride Parade in West Hollywood

West Hollywood will once again host the L.A. Pride Festival, with approximately half a million individuals visiting the area on June 10th, 11th, and 12th. The Grand Marshall will be Johnny Weir, and entertainment at the festival will include Macy Gray, Ce Ce Peniston, Prince Poppycock, Mya, Estelle, Margaret Cho, Love Darling and dozens of other special guests. The parade and festival are presented by Christopher Street West and showcases the diversity of the LGBT community. Festival –Saturday 12:00 Noon – 12:00 Midnight
 and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. On San Vicente between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. Parade -Parade will start at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 12th.  It starts at Crescent Heights Boulevard and travels west down

Cleo Restaurant at The Redbury Hotel and The W Hotel Hollywood

Can’t say enough about Cleo at The Redbury Hotel. Not the easiest reservation to make, but well worth the effort. Took 3 friends there tonight for dinner and we all agree that it’s some of the best food we’ve had in Los Angeles.  We basically turned our night over to our knowledgeable waitress Victoria. She didn’t let us down.  From the lamb shank to the Brussels sprouts to the Merlot, she nailed everything!  We had about 13 plates between us, and enjoyed it all.  She even recommended after dinner drinks and desserts, which were fantastic.  The General Manager made his rounds to check on our experience.  After our dinner we made our way across Hollywood Boulevard to the W Hotel.  Great

23rd Vintage Bouquet at Greystone Mansion Beverly Hills

Another great event happening up at Greystone Mansion.  On May 15th, 2011, the 23rd Vintage Bouquet will take place.  Tickets purchased in advance are $125, and VIP tickets are going for $175. Ticket includes an afternoon of unlimited wine tasting, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and auctions.   This event will be hosted by Elia Aboumrad, from Top Chef fame. Hollywood Bowl 2011 Season Calendar

The Hollywood Bowl just announced its 2011 season calendar.  Tickets go on sale May 7th at 10am.
