Weekly Celebrity Sightings

This week while touring L.A. 1.  Antonio Banderas at the Kinko’s store on Sunset Boulevard. 2.  Sharon Stone at Cafe Med on Sunset Boulevard in Sunset Plaza. 3. Lauren Conrad ordering take-out at Lemonade Cafe on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. 4. Simon Cowell cruising by in his black Rolls Royce.

Sunset Strip Music Festival

The lineup for the Sunset Strip Music Festival has been announced with Motley Crue headlining the event.  The venues include The House of Blues, Key Club, Viper Room, Whisky A Go-Go, and The Roxy Theater.  Other performers over the 3-day event include Cobra Starship, Bush, Matt & Kim, Public Enemy, Buckcherry, She Wants Revenge, and Tribal Seeds.  The event starts on August 18th at the House of Blues with a tribute to Motley Crue, celebrating their 30th anniversary.  It concludes on Saturday August 20th, with Sunset Boulevard closed off to accommodate the outdoor stages, beer gardens, food trucks and a VIP lounge.  Estimated attendance for Saturday–about 15,000 music fans! Shrek the Musical at The Pantages Theater

Catch The L.A. premiere of Shrek the Musical at The Pantages Theater in Hollywood July 12-31, 2011. Weekly Celebrity Sightings

Living in Los Angeles, it’s hard to go a day without seeing a famous face.  All you have to do is spot the paparazzi hanging out on Robertson Boulevard near The Ivy, Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills near the famous plastic surgeon offices, The Grove, or the Beverly Hills Courthouse and know that they’re there for a reason and their payday is soon to emerge. Often while touring, we’re able to surprise our guests with a celebrity sighting.  From Tom Cruise on his Ducati, to Simon Cowell in his Bugatti, we’ve seen them all.  We’ll report them on our blog as long as they’re out in public.  If we spot a celebrity at their home, the gym, a hotel or

The El Capitan Theatre and Cars 2 Attraction

The El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard will host over 3 ½ hours of entertainment for the Disney Pixar film “Cars 2” from June 24th -August 28th. 405 Freeway Closure on July 15th, 16th and 17th

Just a heads up to anyone traveling in Los Angeles on the evening of Friday, July 15th through early Monday, July 18th.  The northbound 405 Freeway between the 10 Freeway and the 101 Freeway will be completely closed down due to construction.   The southbound section will alsobe closed for about 4 miles beginning at the 101 Freeway.   EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS.  The 405 is one of the busiest freeways in the nation, and the traffic from this closure will spill over into just about every community in the valley and the westside.  Most locals are being told to stay local and to avoid travel.  Both the Getty Center and the Skirball Cultural Center will be closed during this time
