Visiting The Fairfax District in Los Angeles

Jennifer Aniston to receive her star on the Walk of fame

It’s a great time to take a private tour of Hollywood!  Not only is it Oscar week, but a major superstar of T.V. and film, Jennifer Aniston, will receive her star on the Walk of Fame this Wednesday, February 22nd, in front of the W Hollywood Hotel at 6720 Hollywood Boulevard.  Jennifer will achieve her star for the category of “Motion Pictures” and she will be the 2,462nd honoree on the walk which covers the north side of Vine, and Hollywood Blvd. between La Brea and Gower.

Grammy Weekend Parties in Los Angeles

It’s Grammy weekend in Los Angeles, and before Sunday’s big show, expect dozens of parties around the city.  Two of the most anticipated and desired involve Clive Davis and Jay- Z. Clive Davis throws his annual party (He’s been doing this for over 30 years) the night before the Grammy telecast at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.  This was the same party in 2009 that Chris Brown and Rihanna attended together, and made headlines after they left.  This years A-list attendees include Jimmy Iovine, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Sean Puffy Combs, Cee Lo Green, Tony Bennett, Quincy Jones, Miley Cyrus, Diana Krall, and Elvis Costello. Pink Taco coming to The Sunset Strip in West Hollywood

The Morton family gold continues.  Harry Morton, part owner of The Viper Room, and son of Peter Morton (Hard Rock Cafe), and grandson of Arnie Morton (Morton’s Steakhouse), will be opening Pink Taco on The Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.  The legendary location was once the 1940’s Player’s Club, and in later years, was home to The Roxbury Nightclub and Miyagi’s.  The new restaurant will have three levels with several bars, and individual rooms.   Pink Taco has an opening date scheduled for spring.   We’re thrilled that we can soon walk to get some of the best tacos, Margaritas, and salsa in the city, and not have to hitch it down to Westfield Shopping Center to their other local

Paul McCartney and Matt Groening along with The Walk of Fame Honorees for 2012

It doesn’t get bigger than this!  Legend, Paul McCartney, will be honored with his star on The Walk of Fame this Thursday, February 9th at 2pm.  His star will be the 2460th star in the walk, and will be placed alongside his Beatles bandmates, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison in front of The Capitol Records Building at 1750 N. Vine.  Collectively, The Beatles have a Walk of Fame star on the south/east corner of La Brea and Hollywood Boulevard next to Elvis Presley.
