Greystone Mansion Design House Tour in Beverly Hills

While we are slightly bummed that we can’t access the grounds of the beautiful Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills for the next 45 days, we are thrilled that locals as well as visitors will have a chance to enter the interior of this legendary estate.  This truly is a rare opportunity via the ShowHouse Tour at Greystone Mansion. From Beverly Hills.Org and Design House International: In a theme never before seen in a Showcase House event, our interior designers will transform Greystone Mansion into unique expressions of creativity and power with rooms inspired by their own accomplished clients or by iconic titans of business from the entertainment, fashion, finance and technology industries. The interior designers will reveal the tastes of

City of West Hollywood Halloween 2013 Carnaval

It’s just a week away!  The West Hollywood Halloween 2013 Carnaval.  Plan in advance!  With over 500,000 people coming into the city and partying along Santa Monica Boulevard, traffic will be a nightmare.  Get here early, grab a parking spot and enjoy the dozens and dozens of bars and restaurants along Melrose Avenue, 3rd, Beverly, La Cienega, Robertson, Santa Monica Boulevard and Sunset.  Otherwise, (speaking from experience) it could take you 2.5-3 hours sitting in wall-to-wall traffic from the 101 Freeway to Fairfax or Doheny only to find that you arrive and have no place to park.  With half a million people enjoying the festivities, it’s recommended that babies (especially those in strollers), and dogs, stay safely at home. Reviews for Glitterati Private Tours of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles

With dozens of reviews across the internet on different sites such as TripAdvisor, every so often we like to pat ourselves on the back for a job well done!   Listed below, are just a few of those reviews for our tour company, Glitterati Private Tours:   We did a full day customised private tour & it was the best way to see so much of LA & it’s beachside communities in such a short time. Not only did we get to see all the celebrity homes we also got to see other less well known areas of LA which the general tour buses never go to. The trip up to Venice beach, Santa Monica & Malibu was fantastic. Our

Festivities for Fall in Los Angeles and Hollywood

It’s shaping up to be a beautiful, yet very interesting fall in Los Angeles.  Today we’re experiencing 94 degrees F (34 C), but in 3 days the temperature will drop to a more seasonably 64 degrees (17 C).  Regardless, we’ve had some crystal clear days with incredible visibility from vista points in the Santa Monica Mountain Range above Hollywood. Enjoy fall in Los Angeles with festivities at The Original Farmer’s Market, walk the WeHo Halloween Carnival, visit a local pumpkin patch, or partake in one of the many haunted houses or theme parks in the city.  One of our favorite traditions includes grabbing a spiced latte and some fresh pumpkin pie at Urth Caffe on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
