Puppet Shows in Los Angeles and Marionettes

Puppet Shows in Los Angeles involve a handful of incredibly talented individuals.  Here’s a few upcoming events: “Puppeteer to the Stars,” Scott Land will be entertaining the crowds at The Original Farmer’s Market this Sunday, July 27th from 12-3pm.  He will once again mesmerize audiences with his hand-crafted old-fashioned marionettes.  Admission is free, and the event takes place in the Market Plaza. Can’t make these puppets? One can always book Scott Land and company for a private event.  He’s performed for some of L.A. biggest celebrities.   Also, check out The Bob Baker Marionettes in Los Angeles.  It’s the longest running children’s theater in L.A.  Everything you see at this amazing venue is produced in the on-site shop. Los Angeles Shopping and Local Dining

There’s a lot we Angelenos take for granted…the palm trees, the ocean, the mountains, and the ability to throw a stone in any direction and hit a unique shopping experience. We’ve got it all for Los Angeles shopping — from high-end to vintage, and couture to cultured. That being said, here’s a handful of recent Hollywood celebrity sightings: -Don Rickles,

The Page Museum and The La Brea Tar Pits

A very exciting time for Los Angeles, as the world-famous La Brea Tar Pits introduces their all new excavator tour.  Free with museum admission, with limited availability and required timed tickets.  Reserve tickets online at tarpits.org In June of 2006, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) began work on a new underground parking garage. During the course of construction, 16 new fossil deposits were discovered, including the semi-articulated, largely complete skeleton of an adult mammoth.
