25 New Los Angeles Restaurants

Between conducting tours and trying to stay in shape, it’s impossible to hit all the new Los Angeles restaurants.  As tour guides in L.A., we try to keep up on the hottest places to eat and the famous chefs behind the menu.  However, quite a few places slip through the cracks, especially when they’re in the surrounding areas of Silverlake, Downtown, Koreatown, Marina Del Rey, and Pasadena.  That’s why we rely on some great articles like this Zagat list from Lesley Balla to keep up on Los Angeles restaurants and current openings: Independence, Lunasia Dim Sum House, Ramen Champ, Tomato Pie Pizza Joint, Simmzy’s Burbank, 800 Degrees, Manichi Ramen, Sweeney’s Ale House, The Little Easy, Verve Coffee Roasters, Rocco’s Tavern,

Los Angeles Marathon 2015

Glitterati Tours of Los Angeles works 365 days a year.  However, there are times when we don’t accept tours due to traffic conditions in the city.  This can include the Halloween Carnaval in West Hollywood, presidential motorcades, and of course our Los Angeles Marathon.  This year, the 2015 Los Angeles Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 15th.  We will be conducting city tours after 1pm after many of the Hollywood roads open to traffic, but will completely avoid the beach communities, since the Los Angeles Marathon ends in Santa Monica. Hotel Pickups for Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Tours

The advantage of a private tour is the flexibility for the visitor.  Glitterati Tours can pick up guests directly at their hotel in the Beverly Hills, LAX, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, or Downtown L.A. areas.  We can also pick you up after your local Hollywood or Beverly Hills experience, whether it’s Universal Studios, Warner Bros., a restaurant, or museum. We often get requests for pickups in Long Beach, Anaheim, Newport Beach and Pasadena, and unfortunately, these areas are just too far out (and with traffic, highly unpredictable) for us to accommodate transportation.  We remind potential guests that it’s far more economical to get alternative transportation into the heart of the city.  We’ve laid out more on this
