dineL.A. Restaurant Week Happening Now

The popular dineL.A. Restaurant Week (actually 14 days) started today, and goes through Sunday, July 31st.  Promoted by the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, dineL.A. highlights the diversity of cuisine throughout the area, and includes communities like Venice, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown L.A., Echo Park, West Hollywood, Koreatown, Pasadena and Silver Lake. Lunch and dinner options available: Lunch (2+ Courses): $15, $20, $25 Dinner (3+ Courses): $29, $39, $49, $95+ (dineL.A. Exclusive Series) Booking in advance is highly recommended.  Walk-ins are also welcome, but don’t come with a guarantee of getting a table. When in Downtown L.A., visit Clifton’s Cafeteria

When our 1935 landmark in Downtown L.A., Clifton’s Cafeteria, closed down a few years back, many local fans feared that the charm would be swept away with renovations.  Just the opposite.  This unique venue is back, and better than ever. Even though the cafeteria dining options have changed, the great nostalgia has been preserved.  This venue would make for a great outing for the family.  Kids will enjoy the taxidermy animals throughout the complex, as well as the waterfall and giant forest trees in the main dining room.  Adults will enjoy The Monarch, The Brookdale, Gothic Bar, and the Pacific Seas. Summer Tours in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills

Summer tours in Los Angeles are up and running.  This year, the season started early with a blockbuster June, and it’s continued right through July.  The busiest period will actually be coming up within the next week and continue through August and into the first week of September when many holidays end here in the U.S.  That being said, we can’t stress enough to book summer tours in Los Angeles prior to arrival. Just this week alone, Glitterati Tours was fully booked up 5 out of the 7 days.  This is fantastic for us, but unfortunate for the dozens of guests looking for a last-minute private tour of Beverly Hills and L.A. Not sure if a private tour is right
