2017 Season Calendar for The Hollywood Bowl

The 2017 Season Calendar for The Hollywood Bowl has just been released.  If you’re planning a trip to Los Angeles during the summer months, we recommend booking these shows now for the best seats.  The outdoor Hollywood Bowl seats about 18,000.  We often say, see ANYTHING at the Bowl.  It’s really about being at a legendary venue with tons of Angelenos experiencing music at its best during a dreamy Hollywood summer night.

All the greats have performed here over the decades, dating back to 1922…The Beatles, Monty Python, Lily Pons (1936 with an all time seating record), Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Journey, Motely Crue, Donna Summer, Culture Club, Diana Ross and Genesis, just to name a few.

More times than not, the Bowl allows guests the opportunity to bring in their own special picnic baskets of food, snacks, water bottles, wine and alcohol.  Often during “lease” events, take-ins may be restricted, so check specific events.  Worst case scenario, the Bowl has you covered with amazing wine stores and restaurants on the property.  Look into ordering a picnic box delivered to your box, or dine at the Wine Bar at a.o.c. and the Backyard.  Vendors also include street food and snacks, the sweet shop, and MarketPlaces.  For fine dining, reserve at Lucques at the Circle, known for their exceptional wine list.

From the website of the 2017 season calendar for the Hollywood Bowl:

What better way to launch the Bowl season than with the 50th anniversary of The Moody Blues’ world-shattering album Days of Future Passed (“Nights in White Satin,” “Tuesday Afternoon,” etc.), along with more of their greatest hits! Add our fabulous fireworks and you’ve got an opening night to remember.

Depending on rehearsals and productions, Glitterati Tours of Los Angeles can include an intimate look at this world-famous venue during our tours of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
