A Top Spot Rating for Glitterati Tours Los Angeles

We were recently informed that a top spot rating for Glitterati Tours Los Angeles was mentioned in an article by travel writer, Emily Manthei with U.S. News.  We can’t thank Emily enough for researching the best tours that L.A. has to offer, and that we were included in her article.  We’re also grateful to the dozens of concierges (special shout-out to Ali and Sarah), travel agents, editors and professionals that helped propel us into 7 Tours Unique to Los Angeles. We’re right up there with the fantastic studio tour provided by Warner Bros.!  Here’s an excerpt from Emily’s piece:

Glitterati Tours. Glitterati’s private tours offer eight mix-and-match itineraries that cater to each group’s needs. Create your own itinerary by matching popular sites, like Beverly Hills and the Sunset Strip, with personal interests like downtown, homes of Hollywood’s Golden Age celebrities or morbid sites of celebrity scandal. Families traveling with kids can even include a scavenger hunt.

“They show up in a luxury SUV with water, refreshments and light snacks inside,” says Ali McCormack, concierge at the W Hollywood. “The car has tinted windows, so no one even knows you’re a tourist.”

Tours are $149 per hour for up to two people; $179 per hour for up to four; and $209 per hour for up to seven.

We may not be for everyone, but all of this is great information for a visitor planning a trip to Hollywood, Los Angeles and Santa Monica.  We say it all the time…just as one would research potential restaurants, museums, hotels and airlines — do the same with tour companies.
