We wish both teams the best of luck and hope that their fans enjoy a fantastic game, and our city.

Every year about this time, we get asked about logistics and things to do. If you’ve never been here before, Los Angeles, and its county, are HUGE! The Rose Bowl and Rose Parade take place in the city of Pasadena, which falls into L.A. County. This area is about 15 minutes north of our Downtown Los Angeles.

Hollywood and Beverly Hills

Most of the famous sightseeing venues that people ask about, e.g., walk of fame, the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Strip, celebrity homes, studios, etc., are going to be a little further west into Hollywood, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. So what is the distance between Pasadena and Hollywood? About 17 miles. This trip should take about ½ hour by car…but it’s L.A., and even locals can never really gauge our own freeways and traffic. Hollywood is adjacent to both West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Further west (the furthest west you can go without a boat) is Santa Monica. Total distance between Pasadena and the beaches is about 28 miles, or a little under an hour drive time. We attached this map below with the black star representing Hollywood, the blue star for Beverly Hills and the grey star for Santa Monica.

With all the holiday travelers, along with attendees to the Rose Bowl, and Rose Parade, it’s the busiest time of year for Glitterati Tours of L.A. Want to see our city? Book earlier than later for the last 2 weeks in December and the 1st week in January. Glitterati Tours can conduct our city tours with pick ups and drop offs from anywhere in the Hollywood or Beverly Hills area. Because of the logistics described above, we unfortunately can’t travel to Pasadena.

For more information on restaurants, hotels, things to do, museums, and much more, visit our L.A. Info tab on our website.  Enjoy your stay!
