Thanks a million to Tina Miles from The Liverpool Echo for her kind review of our Los Angeles tour company. She and her VIP companions recently took a tour of Hollywood that covered all the famous landmarks and sightseeing destinations, as well as the celebrity and movie stars homes of Beverly Hills. It’s wonderful reviews like this that keep us in the spotlight of U.K. travelers looking for a tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills. An excerpt and photo from her article:
So I spent a morning on a Glitterati Tour, taking in the stunning views atop the Hollywood Hills and watching the mega-rich shoppers on Rodeo Drive – although you’re more likely to see the stars hitting the stores on Robertson Boulevard, according to our guide Jimmy (or the Beverly Center, a stone’s throw from our elegant four-star Sofitel hotel at Beverly Hills, is a good alternative).
He told us “there’s a scandal on every single corner” as he pointed out the spots where Hugh Grant was arrested, Lindsay Lohan crashed her car, George Michael was caught in a Beverley Hills toilet and Chris Brown attacked Rihanna.
Spotting swanky homes owned by celebrities was one of my favourite parts of the tour. I got a good view of the former Osbourne mansion, now owned by Christina Aguilera, and was a little envious of Ashton Kutcher’s $10.8m listed mansion, which had the most amazing views over Lake Hollywood.
The tour also took us along Hollywood Boulevard to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theatre, past the famous gates of Paramount Pictures, through Hollywood Cemetery and to LA’s Original Farmers Market.
There were plenty of photo opportunities on route but a shot I couldn’t leave without was the iconic Hollywood sign. Once a massive billboard unveiled in 1923 to promote a new Hollywoodland development, it now attracts millions of visitors each year.
