Best Farmers Markets in Los Angeles

A List of the Best Farmers Markets in Los Angeles!

You don’t need a Black American Express card to shop like a Los Angeles local. Beyond the glitz and glam of Rodeo Drive is some of Los Angeles’s best shopping.

One of the best ways to see Los Angeles from a native’s perspective is to take a trip to one of the many farmer’s markets scattered throughout the city. Of course we have our extremely popular Farmers Market by the Grove, but L.A. also has many pop up markets all week long. These markets have the local best from all over Los Angeles. Everything from fruits, vegetables and artisan breads (perfect for a picnic on the beach after you visit), to barbeque, oils, salts, and any type of food you can imagine. *Inside tip: If you hang around and shop until the closing time of the market, you can get great deals on produce.*

The markets also have plenty of shopping. I personally have found my favorite jewelry at little stands in farmers markets around L.A. You also can find great companies. Many companies that sell all over the United states will have stands with one of a kind and local items. A personal favorite found at a pop up stand is a company called The Giving Keys. The Giving Keys is a non-profit company with a simple but beautiful product and message. They have all sorts of necklaces, bracelets, and jewelry in different metals. The concept is to put a word on your key jewelry that you need to be reminded of – a word such as courage, hope, breathe, love; and when you no longer need the reminder you pass it along to someone who does. The company’s profits go towards helping the homeless population and they employ the homeless to help get them off the streets. This is just one of the many great pop ups at the markets.
