Yes, the daytime highs have been taking their toll. Most days so far in July and August have been in the high 80’s, 90’s, and even some have topped out at over a 100. However, there’s few things better than summer nights in Los Angeles. Once that sun dips down over the Santa Monica Mountain Range and drops lower on the horizon in the Pacific Ocean, it’s near perfect. Plus, there’s no pesky bugs!
One still has 2 more weeks to enjoy BOLD in Beverly Hills. The annual event has businesses open with extended hours throughout the 90210. Most of this event takes place on Rodeo Drive, but look for much more in the entire Golden Triangle of shopping and dining.
BOLD Summer in Beverly Hills takes place Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during the month of August.
Here’s a few things happening over the next two weekends:
August 16th: Roaming Musical Performances in the Golden Triangle, Concerts on Canon in Beverly Canon Gardens (just below The Montage Beverly Hills Hotel), FIDM Sketch Artists, Floral Pop-Up on Rodeo, Soultones Performance on Two Rodeo.
August 18th: Live Painting by Alexa Meade at The Paley Center for Media, BOLD Rides at Dayton Way and Rodeo, DJ Future Proof, Monogramming Station, 3-D Chalk Art.
August 24th: Art Walk beginning at Taschen, Roaming Butterfly Characters, DJ Reprise, Video/Photo Booth and Gold Standard Performance.
August 25th: The BOLD SUMMER festivities conclude with the annual “Next Night Block Party.”
