Car Show in Beverly Hills

If you’re reading this now, you may have just missed the Concours d’Elegance car show in Beverly Hills at Greystone Mansion this past Sunday.  It’s not too late to prepare for the granddaddy of all car shows in Beverly Hills, as Rodeo Drive completely closes down on Sunday, June 18th, 2017 for a Father’s Day special event not to be missed.

Concours d’Elegance Beverly Hills is a free event, and has something for the entire family (of car lovers).  When one hears of ANYTHING free in Beverly Hills…jump on it.  Each year, Concours will have a theme that will provide the ultimate in cars and motorcycles in their selected categories.  Who knows, one may even see Jay Leno showing off one of his many classic and collectible automobiles or bikes.

If you can’t make the Rodeo Drive show, car lovers must make sure to check out the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.  It’s in Museum Square, which also includes The La Brea Tar Pits, LACMA and the Broad Contemporary Art Museum (not to be confused with the newer “The Broad” in Downtown Los Angeles next to The Walt Disney Concert Hall).  When at the Petersen, definitely purchase the ticket to the vault.  It’s a big bang for the buck with one of the most incredible collections of historic and notorious autos.

If attending the Rodeo Drive show, walk 1 or 2 blocks east to Beverly Drive or Canon Drive to experience fantastic dining at places like Spago, Il Pastaio, e. Baldi, The Palm, Citizen, Georgie at Montage Beverly Hills, Via Alloro, Wally’s Wine and Beer Bar, Mastro’s Steakhouse, or the wonderful deli, Nate ‘N Al’s.  Get there early enough and you might spot Larry King sitting at his designated table.

If enjoying the Petersen, walk north a few blocks to the always wonderful, The Grove, and The Farmer’s Market.  Side by side venues, decades apart, that offer up some of the best dining, people watching, and shopping in Los Angeles.

Take a private tour of Los Angeles with Glitterati Tours and one may spot the finest Bugatti’s, Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s, and luxury vehicles in action on the road throughout Hollywood and Beverly Hills!
