The Best Way to Tour Hollywood and Beverly Hills From LAX Los Angeles Airport

Glitterati Tours is one of the few private tour companies in Los Angeles with the permits to access LAX Airport for roundtrip sightseeing tours of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the beach communities of Santa Monica and Malibu.  Typically, guests with layovers have a limited time to see the city of L.A.  A private tour is the best option.  Obviously, it will be more expensive than a larger group or bus tour of the city, but one is paying for the convenience and the opportunity to fully customize their interests, and get the best perspective of our sprawling metropolis.  We often look at these tours as a sampler platter, and more times than not, guests will be enticed to return and

Greek Theatre gearing up for a busy season

The award-winning, Greek Theatre, tucked away in the hills of Griffith Park, is an amazing outdoor summer venue.  One of the handful that we recommended when conducting city day tours of Los Angeles. Owned by the city of Los Angeles, and run by Nederlander, this 5,800 seat amphitheater is a must for concert lovers. Some of their upcoming shows: War/Tower of Power, May 26th.                                    Primus, June 8th. The B-52’s + Squeeze, June 30. Demi Lovato, July 18th. Alan Jackson, July 20th. Tour Companies in Los Angeles: Open top versus enclosed vehicles

If you’ve ever been to Los Angeles, particularly the Hollywood area, you’ll see dozens of open top vans and buses used for sightseeing tours.  In the summertime, there are literally hundreds of them making their way down the Sunset Strip.  Some guests love them, while others don’t like being exposed to the elements.  While they do provide incredible views, you’ll often see visitors draped in blankets in the winter or lathered in sunscreen in the summer.  At Glitterati Tours, we only use enclosed SUV’s and luxury custom vans for our private Los Angeles tours.  We feel, and our guests agree, that this is truly the most comfortable and discreet way to tour Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
