On Sunday, April 10th, over 125,000 people will participate in the 2nd annual Los Angeles CicLAvia event. A 7.5 mile course is a car-free zone until 3pm. This family friendly day encourages participants to walk, rollerblade or bike their way through several communities including MacArthur Park, Downtown Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, East Hollywood and Koreatown.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be on hand for the festivities. This is a fantastic day to explore Los Angeles and take in its diversity. It’s a rare opportunity to focus on the surrounding environments without having to concentrate on the road.
