Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

It’s fall – and even if you are over all of the ads for pumpkin spiced everything, there are some perks that come along with the season. While it doesn’t necessarily get as crisp as other parts of the country, Los Angeles does have the advantage of great weather that allows for all of the fall outdoor activities without some of the chill. One of the best to enjoy? Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Cinespia offers outdoor film experiences all over Los Angeles, but one of the most popular locations is the Fairbanks Lawn at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. With October just around the corner, it is the perfect setting for a fall movie – especially any of the creepier options for those who love a thrill and a good fright! Who doesn’t want to watch The Sixth Sense alongside the Hollywood legends buried nearby?  It’s no secret that any film is going to be that much creepier surrounded by ghosts and graves (okay… we’ll let you be the judge on the ghosts part).

Cinespia Fall Screenings

For the Sixth Sense, you can enjoy the screening on October 19th at 7 p.m.  This year marks the film’s 20th anniversary, making it an even more special evening to catch this suspense thriller. On the 27th, for the true horror fans, you can check out The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. New films are always popping up for the schedule – so keep an eye on their website for more movie showings.

Not a fan of the gore and spooks? For lighter shows celebrating the season you can check out their website and showings all around town: http://cinespia.org/.

Cinespia is the perfect fall evening. You can pack your own picnic – so you can skip the pumpkin spice if you need a break and bring your fall favorites. Caramel apple anyone? Happy Screening!
