Can’t say enough about Cleo at The Redbury Hotel. Not the easiest reservation to make, but well worth the effort. Took 3 friends there tonight for dinner and we all agree that it’s some of the best food we’ve had in Los Angeles. We basically turned our night over to our knowledgeable waitress Victoria. She didn’t let us down. From the lamb shank to the Brussels sprouts to the Merlot, she nailed everything! We had about 13 plates between us, and enjoyed it all. She even recommended after dinner drinks and desserts, which were fantastic. The General Manager made his rounds to check on our experience. After our dinner we made our way across Hollywood Boulevard to the W Hotel. Great vibe outdoors right off the main lobby. This place was hopping. A bartender picked a nightcap that topped off our evening. Next time, we’re looking forward to checking out Drai’s nightclub on the roof. I’ve had a tour of the property during the day, and can only imagine the energy on a warm summer Los Angeles night. Took the Walk of Fame on foot afterwards and the entire street was full of life…lines of people at Katsuya Restaurant, Beso Restaurant, Kress Hollywood, Las Palmas, and the Roxbury. Hollywood is back and only getting better!
