Cool Summer Meals at Hot Los Angeles Restaurants

Great Los Angeles restaurants are popping up everywhere.  Some of the spots that Angelenos and visitors enjoy the most include:  Providence, Spago, Cut by Wolfgang Puck, Bouchon, Scarpetta, RivaBella, Boa Steakhouse, Pizzeria and Osteria Mozza, Livello, Culina, Boxwood Cafe, Trois Mec, Animal, Son of a Gun, Gjelina, and The Red O.

These Los Angeles restaurants have phenomenal ambience, service and of course, great food.  Two of our personal favorites include Picca Peru and Connie and Ted’s.  Picca Peru offers up an amazing list of cocktails.  Most are tequila-based to go with their delicious ceviche dishes.  Let the waiter or waitress order for you…you won’t be disappointed.

Connie and Ted’s just recently opened in West Hollywood.  Make sure to book early if planning on visiting the area, or arrive early (currently 5pm) to grab a table before the reservations pour in.  Great selection of fresh seafood, from the oysters and lobster dishes, to the fish & chips and clams.  Got to wait a bit for a table…not a problem, for this open kitchen and high-ceiling Los Angeles restaurant is the perfect atmosphere to grab a cocktail and people watch.  (Tonight we saw the star of a HUGE television series dining with his friends and family).
