Instead of displaying art only to be admired from afar, they have curated an exhibition that is meant to be immersive, interactive, and best of all…meant to spread happiness and brighten your day.

The Flutter Experience Los Angeles was built on the idea that going to a museum can have a positive effect on anyone’s mental state. Their goal as stated on their website is to engage people to engage and be inspired by art. The whole exhibit is filled with contemporary art that was created solely to be directly interacted with. From lights to rooms filled with abstract stuffed animals, there is something around every corner to stimulate your mind. Lady Gaga fans will be especially pleased with the museum, as her organization, “Born This Way” has partnered with the art collection. While tickets are not free, part of the proceeds go to Born This Way. All Lady Gaga’s little monsters can support her and each other by spending a beautiful day surrounded by some of the best work by LA artists.

Interactive Art Rooms at The Flutter Experience

Spend an afternoon wandering through their light displays and virtual reality stops, and feel like a kid by climbing over giant furniture and checking out their projection mappings. Make sure to read the artist’s bio’s on their website. Their stories are all as varied and fascinating as the art displayed. From fashion, design studios, and Brooklyn apartment start-ups, their passion is obviously seen in their work, and throughout their lives.
