As we travel down Highland Avenue during our Los Angeles tour from The Hollywood Bowl and the Hollywood sign, guests will ask about the impressive arch on the corner of Hollywood & Highland. It’s a massive replica based on the Babylon set of the 1916 D.W. Griffith epic, “Intolerance.”
Once inside Hollywood & Highland, explore over 70 brand-name retailers and speciality stores like Louis Vuitton, Fossil, Wyland Gallery Hollywood, L’Occitane, SWEET!, Victoria’s Secret, MAC, GAP, Kitson, Hot Topic, Oakley, Skechers and Lucky Brand Jeans. Guests can also enjoy over 25 full-service and fast-casual restaurants such as The Grill on Hollywood, Starbucks, Hard Rock Cafe, Trastevere Ristorante, California Pizza Kitchen, and Cabo Wabo Cantina. Nightlife can include Lucky Strike Lanes, Dave & Buster’s and OHM Nightclub.
This same complex hosts the Academy Awards at The Dolby Theatre, and red-carpet premieres at the 1927 Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The Walk of Fame travels along this same stretch, and across the street, visitors can catch Jimmy Kimmel Live or a show at Disney’s El Capitan Theatre. On the south side of the street, visit the amazing Hollywood Museum with 1000’s of props and costumes. It’s the real deal!
Around the corner, have a martini and a Caesar salad at the legendary Musso & Frank Grill.
Hotels nearby Hollywood & Highland include The Hollywood Roosevelt, Loews Hollywood Hotel, and The W Hotel at Hollywood & Vine.
