Hollywood Night at Escape Hotel Along the Walk of Fame
Looking for some unique things to do when in Los Angeles? If you’re visiting the Hollywood & Highland Center with its walk of fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, and The Dolby Theatre, stroll a few blocks east and check into Escape Hotel Hollywood…but hope you can get out!
The Escape Hotel is the largest escape venue in the world with 12 themed escape rooms to explore. It’s designed to look like a 1930’s haunted hotel. After checking in, enjoy the spooky lobby and make sure to take advantage of their numerous selfie spots. They even have a snack bar with beverages and munchies. Grab something, for it could be your last meal.
The Glitterati Tours team of Beverly Hills had an awesome midsummer outing the other night at the hotel. We were greeted by our host Gavin. After checking us all in and providing our souvenir passports, he took us down the haunted hallway to our room. With 10 of us on board, we chose their largest room, The Cursed Crypt. We can’t give anything away, but one clue leads to another, and soon other hidden rooms mysteriously open up for a continued adventure. We did in fact “escape,” for we’ve got some smart folks on our team. We missed the record by 6 minutes for this particular room. The entire team was ready for more action and ready to tackle another room, but it was a work night.
When we go back, we’ll look into one of the other 11 haunted escape rooms that include names like Witchcraft, Circus, Attic, Slaughter, Daycare, Zombie, Agent and Espionage. If you don’t have enough guests for a room, they can pair you up with another party. In fact, when we were there, a major Hollywood actress was there with her family! We thank Ivan, Gavin and the entire team for an awesome night!
Make it a full Hollywood experience like we did and dine at Miceli’s Hollywood. It’s a 1949 Italian Restaurant across the street. Grab a great pizza, or pasta off of their extensive menu, and enjoy singing waiters and waitresses.
Then pop into the 1919 legendary spot, Musso and Frank Grill and grab one of their famous martinis. You never know which celebrity sighting you’ll catch here, and you’ll recognize it as a filming location from numerous movies, including Once Upon a Time in Hollywood with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
