For more information on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and star ceremony dates, visit their official website. Ceremonies are usually announced 7 to 10 days prior to the event. More times than not, several co-stars, directors, producers, A-List friends, and family also attend to support the honoree. Ceremonies are always free, with no ticket to purchase. The events usually take place between 1130a and 1215P. No chairs allowed on sidewalk and because the area can get extremely crowded, it is recommended that small children do not attend.
