L.A. Forecast Through Valentines Day and Los Angeles Marathon

Where is El Nino?!  Certainly not in Southern California.  The L.A. forecast for the next 10 days shows zero precipitation.  In fact, everyday will top out into the high 70’s or low 80’s.  This takes us through this Sunday’s big Super Bowl game, and of course, Valentines Day and our Los Angeles Marathon on February 14th, 2016.

L.A. Forecast for Los Angeles Marathon

With no rain, it’s the perfect time to take a Glitterati Tours tour of Los Angeles and watch the sun light up our palm trees.  With no cloud cover, look for picture-perfect views of our Hollywood Sign, and perhaps even a view of the Pacific Ocean from the peaks above Beverly Hills and L.A.

Los Angeles Marathon 2016

The runners participating in the Los Angeles Marathon, will experience a beautiful morning and afternoon.  We’ve blogged about the awesome “Stadium to the Sea” route before.  It covers incredible ground including Dodger Stadium, Downtown L.A. (DTLA), Hollywood with Grauman’s Chinese Theater and The Dolby Theatre (prepping now for the Academy Awards), West Hollywood and the rock and roll Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, and then down through Century City before the straight shot ending at the Santa Monica Pier.

If you are in any of these areas on this particular day, best to stay put until about 1PM, especially in the Hollywood, Beverly Hills areas.  This is the time that roads like Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset, and Rodeo Drive are expected to re-open.  If you’ll be in Santa Monica or Venice Beach, leave the car, and walk!

Enjoy our weather and our great city!
