L.A. Summer Vacations for Dads and Grads

It’s that time of year for L.A. summer vacations for dads and grads! Look no further than our connected cities to provide a wonderful excursion for every member of the family, both old and young!

If you’ve got car lovers in your family, June is the perfect month. Check out the FREE 25th Anniversary of The Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance  (Nothing is ever free on Rodeo Drive, so this is a real treat). It’s on Father’s Day, June 17th, 2018 from 10AM to 4PM.  Look for new product launches as well as classics, such as a 1927 Rolls Royce Phantom. This event has even been named one of the 300 Unmissable Events or Festivals…worldwide.

Cars on Rodeo Drive

Whether or not you can make it this particular day, look into reserving a table outside at The Blvd.  It’s one of  The Beverly Wilshire Hotel restaurants, and it sits just at the south end of Rodeo Drive.  Here, you can see a constant parade of the most high-end and ridiculously expensive automobiles in the world.  Don’t be surprised if you see foreign license plates…these autos tend to fly over with their billionaire owners.

Also, take a tour of The Petersen Automotive Museum on Wilshire Blvd, or make a quick stop at Heritage Classics on Santa Monica Blvd, or O’Gara Motor Coach on Olympic for both high-end and old school treasures.

For grads, whether graduating from pre-school, middle school, high school or college, look to Los Angeles for something for everyone.  Museums, theme parks, studios, selfie spots, shopping, dining… we’ve got it all.

Everyone loves The Grove and The Farmer’s Market in Hollywood, for a wide-selection of spots that are sure to suit every taste.

Enjoy your summer vacation, and hats off to dads, grads, lads, and everything in between!
