Los Angeles is a hub for diverse culture and all art forms. While it is clearly the epicenter of the entertainment industry, it also has many opportunities to view incredible art from around the world. From The Getty Center, to The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), to The Broad, there is never a shortage of famous and breath-taking exhibits to view.
This weekend, our city welcomes back the annual LA Art Show to Downtown L.A. at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This popular event welcomes artists, collectors, and exhibitors, the chance to show and buy some of the greatest artwork today. The show put on by DIVERSartLA prides itself on working with not only international museum curators, but also local artists and curators who really represent the Los Angeles art scene today.
The show features more than 200,000 square feet of space for exhibits of all kinds. Paint, performance art, sculpture design, and more. Throughout the weekend you can find panels featuring artists, art directors, collectors, and influencers in the one of the show’s features “Dialogs LA.”
Equally as exciting as the art are the patrons you may see perusing the scene. The LA Art Show is a venue known for spotting many celebrities – especially at the charity “Vernasse” opening event benefiting the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital this Wednesday January 10th.
You can find tickets to the show at their website here: LA Art Show 2018
