LA Pride Week 2019

LA Pride Week 2019 this year happens between May 31st  and June 9th.  The theme (or hashtag) is #JustUnite.

It all kicks off on the 31st of May with the 7th Annual LGBT Night at Dodger Stadium.  Guests are invited to come as early as 530PM for a pre-game festive event at the Right Field Plaza Bar.  You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy, for the first pitch isn’t happening until 710PM.  Fireworks and DJ Bowie Jane will complete the night when the game is over.

On June 1st, take in the 3rd Annual LA Pride Night at Universal Studios Hollywood.  Their theme is “Pride is Universal.”  Perks include theme park access starting at 4PM, along with exclusive after-hours Universal Studios park access from 9PM to 2AM.  There will be dance clubs, live DJ’s, cash bars and a ton of other surprises.

June 7th will officially mark the opening ceremony in West Hollywood. This will happen between 8PM and 11PM in West Hollywood Park on San Vicente, between Santa Monica Blvd and Melrose Avenue.

June 9th will see the annual Pride Parade on Santa Monica Blvd between Fairfax and Doheny Drive, bordering Beverly Hills.

For festive friendly restaurants, bars and venues throughout the week, look to The Abbey Food and Bar, PUMP Restaurant and Lounge, Trunks, FuBar, Micky’s, Rage, Mother Lode, Basix Café, Marix Tex Mex, Fresh Corn Grill, Tortilla Republic, The Chapel at The Abbey, and dozens of other hotspots throughout the city.
