There’s also the Terror Tram, the new Jabbawockeez Show, plenty of rides, and scare zones.

Paramount Studios

One of the more intimate experiences can be had at the legendary Paramount Studios. They have their After Dark Tour – Tales From the Other Side. You’re greeted at dusk with a Champagne toast. Then you’re guided through the lot by flashlight before given exclusive after-dark access to Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It’s here where Hollywood royalty like Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Valentino, John Houston, Cecil B. Demille, Douglas Fairbanks, and Mel Blanc are laid to rest.

Knott’s Scary Farm at Knott’s Berry Farm

The granddaddy of all theme park Halloween events. There are nine mazes this year including The Dark Ride, Paranormal Inc., Pumpkin Eater, Shadow Lands, Special Ops: Infected, The Red Barn, The Tooth Fairy, Trick or Treat: Lights Out, and Voodoo.

The scare zones here are not for the timid. Over 1000 horrifying creatures lurk in the fog and hide out in every corner of the park.

Not to be missed, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, takes the stage at Knott’s Scary Farm for the final time.

There are certainly dozens and dozens of other activities throughout Southern California for Halloween season. Check back with Glitterati Tours of Los Angeles for upcoming events, including those that are less frightening and suitable for the younger ones.
