No. 10 Restaurant in Los Angeles

3rd Street in Los Angeles has been a foodie favorite for years.  Restaurants like The Little Door, Little Next Door, Son of a Gun, A.O.C., The IZAKA-YA by Katsu-ya, El Carmen, Toast Bakery Cafe, and Joan’s on Third, are just a few of the popular eateries in this section of town that straddles the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood.

Recently opened, No. 10 Restaurant in Los Angeles is fast becoming a new local hotspot.  With chefs Nick Parker and Fabio Ugoletti creating seasonal culinary masterpieces, and restauranteurs Emanuele Romani, and football legend Alessandro Del Piero, one can look forward to a special night out of dining and cocktails.

We were fortunate to get an early Saturday night reservation, and on our heels the place quickly filled up.  We had the perfect table that was technically outside, with all the comforts of the interior spaces.  The music selection was excellent (with an extraordinarily clear sound system) that only added to a hip Los Angeles night on the town.

We had Camillo as our server.  He was amazing.  He’s from Italy, and his expertise in all-things food sold us on his suggestions.  He knew the menu inside and out, along with all the seasonal ingredients.  From the descriptions of the pastas that were perfectly served al dente, to the special whole wheat pizza dough from Italy, it was a home run all the way around.  Because of his incredible knowledge and passion, we gave Camillo the driver’s seat on our order:

Started with a house special cocktail called Rosemary’s Lady which is vodka based.  After, Camillo picked out some amazing Pinot Noir as our red.  We then enjoyed the appetizer Frittino, which is fried calamari, shrimp, cauliflower, delicata squash, and shishito peppers for a nice kick.  This was served with a spicy tomato sauce.  Next we had the Regina Margherita pizza to truly enjoy the flavor of the special whole wheat dough.  The entree was the Paccheri, served al dente with Maine lobster… Beyond words!  This was accompanied by a side order of Carciofi, which is roasted artichokes in a Calabrian chili.
