St. Patrick’s Day Los Angeles

St. Patrick’s Day Los Angeles

____________________________

Trouble is on the horizon.  St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday this year!

From the tame to the insane, here’s a small list of things to do this March 17th:

St. Patrick's Day Los Angeles

Farmers Market L.A.

The Original Farmers Market in Hollywood will be having their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration all day long.  From 11:30AM to 130PM, look for the Celtic Camerata on the east patio.  12N-3PM, Glen the Bagpiper will be strolling the market.  3PM-5PM, The Blackwaterside Trio will be on the east patio, and 6PM to 9PM brings out Lilt ‘n’ Tang on the west patio. EB’s Beer and Wine Bar will be serving green beer, Guinness and other Irish brews, and the legendary Magee’s Kitchen will be serving up their traditional corned beef, potatoes and cabbage.

Rock and Reilly’s will be having their annual block party starting at 1PM this Saturday.  The entire lot behind the bar is closed off for an always expected overflow crowd.  This bar is located in the heart of the Sunset Strip, so be prepared to party like a rockstar.

Tom Bergin Irish Bar LA

Look into other local favorites like Tom Bergin and Molly Malones’s on Fairfax.  (You can actually bar-hop on foot between these two local Irish favorites).  There’s also Jameson’s Irish Pub right in the heart of Hollywood along the Walk of Fame.

Tam O Shanter Restaurant LA

Looking for less of a party, and just a good whiskey while dining on a fantastic plate of fish and chips? Two of our favorites include The Pikey on Sunset (more of an English pub), and the historic Tam O’Shanter Restaurant (more of a Scottish vibe) over in Los Feliz.  The Tam is part of the Lawry’s brand of restaurants, and comes with an incredible Walt Disney history.  While here, make sure to catch at peek at all the great Disney memorabilia, as well as Walt’s favorite table.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Glitterati Tours of Beverly Hills!
