For many international guests, Super Bowl Sunday is as foreign as a championship cricket game is to Americans. Super Bowl Sunday really is a national holiday. We eat and drink so much on this day, that it can easily compare to our Thanksgiving…only not as healthy. We indulge on beer, pizza, chicken wings, potato chips and shots of booze. We high-five, gamble, scream, tailgate, and barbecue, as two teams take to the field.
This year, the Carolina Panthers will take on the Denver Broncos in Santa Clara, California at the Levi’s Stadium. British group, Coldplay, will headline the half-time show, with expected appearances with Beyonce and Bruno Mars. The anticipated commercials will be dominated by Budweiser and Doritos.
If this is new to you, and you want to party with the best of them, basically go into any lounge, bar, club, or hotel lobby on February 7th, 2016 and take in the Super Bowl.
Places that will be rocking it out include Barney’s Beanery on Santa Monica Boulevard, Goal Sports Cafe on 3rd in L.A. For the gay visitor, check out Gym Sports Bar in West Hollywood.
