The Hollywood Bowl 2016 calendar promises to have something for everyone. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, the Bowl is a must-visit venue. It really doesn’t matter who’s performing…it’s more about enjoying a warm summer Southern California night with 18,000 other music lovers. It’s one of the few venues that allows guests on most nights to bring in their picnic baskets, wine and beverages. There’s even off-site areas with tables to set up your feast. As always, take one of the many shuttles to the Hollywood Bowl, or walk if possible. There is stacked parking, and it’s not recommended to get stuck in this jam of vehicles, especially after the show. There are local businesses that open up their
L.A. Forecast Through Valentines Day and Los Angeles Marathon
Where is El Nino?! Certainly not in Southern California. The L.A. forecast for the next 10 days shows zero precipitation. In fact, everyday will top out into the high 70’s or low 80’s. This takes us through this Sunday’s big Super Bowl game, and of course, Valentines Day and our Los Angeles Marathon on February 14th, 2016. With no rain, it’s the perfect time to take a Glitterati Tours tour of Los Angeles and watch the sun light up our palm trees. With no cloud cover, look for picture-perfect views of our Hollywood Sign, and perhaps even a view of the Pacific Ocean from the peaks above Beverly Hills and L.A. The runners participating in the Los Angeles Marathon, will
Los Angeles New Years Eve Events
Los Angeles New Years Eve events are everywhere…from DTLA to Hollywood to Long Beach. Jean Trinh at LAist.com has taken out the guesswork with incredible descriptions of hot events. The historic Irish pub will be celebrating NYE by going back to 1936, the year it opened. You’ll be able to snag a $36.19 prix-fixe menu, and new $10 winter cocktails like their Roasted Pecan O’Fashioned and Cranberry Sauc’d. They’re
Rose Bowl Game and Rose Parade in Pasadena, California
Pasadena, Los Angeles, and Glitterati Tours of Beverly Hills welcome the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Stanford Cardinals on January 1st, 2016. With the popular Rose Parade in the morning attracting about 1 million curbside viewers and the Rose Bowl Stadium capacity of approximately 92,000, Pasadena will certainly be jammed packed with visitors. Some guests stay about 35 minutes west in areas like Hollywood, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It’s a short scenic trip, as the Santa Monica Mountain Range nestles up to the stunning San Gabriel Mountain Range bordering Pasadena. Planning your visit?
