Christmas in Los Angeles has its perks. You can feel your nose, toes, and fingers. You don’t have to worry about blizzards and snow ruining any holiday plans, and there is no running out to your car to start it 15 minutes before you leave anywhere. Really the only downside is we don’t have a natural refrigerator to help keep all the drinks cool when your fridge runs out of space from all of the holiday goodies! That being said, sometimes it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas without a light dusting of snow and a slight crispness to the air. Luckily for us we have zero humidity this time of year and the evening can give you that slight chill
Marina Del Rey Christmas Lights
Just because it’s warm in California doesn’t mean we can’t have Christmas magic of our own. We may not have the typical white Christmas, but there is plenty to do to keep the spirits bright. Just steps away from the beaches, Marina Del Rey has created a beautiful park for you all to waltz about feeling the warmth with their spectacular Christmas lights. You can see the festive holiday lights dazzle and sparkle all throughout Burton Chace Park every evening during the holiday season, but the real magic happens Saturday evenings. Marina Del Rey puts on a beautiful evening full of festive cheer. From 4pm to 6pm The Wonderettes perform holiday classics in the vein of 1950’s and 1960’s tunes.
