Star Wars Premiere in Hollywood

The office for Glitterati Tours is a short walk to Hollywood Boulevard.  Helicopters have been flying over for days now watching the action for the huge Star Wars premiere this evening.  A few of us took a stroll down the boulevard to check out the set up.  Every 20 feet there are metal detectors screening visitors and attendees.                   This same stretch is used for the Academy Awards every year, and the street preparation for this Star Wars premiere exceeds the Oscars by a long shot. Privacy tarps are everywhere, and a white tent stretches 4 city blocks.     Red carpets stretch along Hollywood Boulevard and spider their way into Grauman’s

Los Angeles El Nino Arriving by January

Rain.  We rarely see it in Los Angeles.  L.A. averages about 14 inches per year.  There’s been quite a bit of talk recently about the Los Angeles El Nino due to bring potential downpours beginning just prior to January.  We certainly need it, for our reservoirs are depleted and our hills are brown with our years’ long drought. Will Ferrell Gets His Star on The Walk of Fame

When guests are taking tours of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, seeing a celebrity is almost always on their bucket list.  There’s no better guarantee of having a celebrity sighting than planning a visit to Hollywood & Highland during a premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater or Disney’s El Capitan Theatre, or attending a star ceremony on The Walk of Fame.  (Just today during a Glitterati Tour, Vin Diesel turned and waved in our guests’ direction from the red carpet premiere of Fast and Furious 7).
