It will be here before you know it. The tradition that’s over 100 years old, and showcases the beauty of Pasadena, Santa Anita and the San Gabriel Mountain Range. New York is the place to be on New Years Eve, but Pasadena owns New Years Day. Along with the parade, we also have our Rose Bowl Game. This year, The Oklahoma Sooners take on The Georgia Bulldogs. (See our previous post on The Rose Bowl Game and distance to Hollywood). The Rose Parade starts near the corner of Orange Grove and Colorado Blvd. It travels east for 5 ½ miles before turning north up Sierra Madre Boulevard. The Grand Marshal for The Pasadena Rose Parade 2018 is actor Gary Sinise.
