Since Christmas decorations started popping up before Halloween, we thought it might be a good time to let locals and visitors know about a handful of upcoming holiday events in Beverly Hills and Hollywood: Beverly Hills BOLD Holidays kick off Thursday, November 15th with the Rodeo Drive party and lighting displays throughout the city. BOLD Holidays will also include evening shopping on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as art installations, entertainment and much more. The Grove in Los Angeles will have their 17th Annual Tree Lighting celebration on November 18th to kick off the holiday season. It’s almost here! The annual Hollywood Christmas Parade 2016 happens live on November 27th. The parade route starts at the Hollywood & Highland Complex on Hollywood Boulevard, travels east towards Hollywood and Vine, goes south, and then makes it back west along Sunset Boulevard. While the best bleacher seats have been sold out, there are TONS of free viewing spaces along these streets and boulevards. This year’s Grand Marshall is the amazing recording artist and movie star Olivia Newton John. With over 100 million albums sold, and 10 #1 hits, as well as starring in Grease with John Travolta, she is a true superstar and will surely be a crowd-pleaser. The tradition continues on Sunday, November 29th, 2015, as the Christmas Parade makes its way through TinselTown starting at 5PM. The parade will start at Orange on Hollywood Boulevard and travel east to Vine, before heading down to Sunset Boulevard to complete the loop. This year, the parade will be hosted by Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain, and Montel Williams. The Grand Marshals will be Penn & Teller.
