Along with our L.A. INFO page, Glitterati Tours has added a gay friendly L.A. page on our website for travelers. Here, one can find information on bars, restaurants, hotels, shopping and Pride updates for L.A. and surrounding communities. It covers the neighborhoods of West Hollywood (BoysTown), Silverlake and gay friendly L.A. in our Downtown area. When in town, one must visit the world-famous Abbey. Soon, this bar will once again expand with an addition called The Abbey Chapel. The Abbey is enormous with go-go boys and girls on most nights. This bar and restaurant welcomes all, and is a favorite of celebrities. Lady Gaga, Christine Aguilera, Sarah Jessica Parker and the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills all party here and

101 Best L.A. Restaurants from Jonathan Gold at LA Times
We Angelenos love this time of year. Not just because the weather changes, but between holiday meals, we indulge at the best L.A. restaurants to escape leftovers. L.A. Times food critic Jonathan Gold has one again compiled an eclectic list of the best L.A. Restaurants. Nice to see some of our local favorites like Mozzaplex, Connie and Ted’s, AOC, Jar, Jitlada, Spago, Jon & Vinny’s, Animal, Plan Check, and of course, Musso & Frank Grill, made the cut. From LA Times 101 Best Restaurants: Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best L.A. Restaurants Your next great meal in Southern California is as likely to come from that tiny storefront next to the 7-Eleven as it is from a Beverly Hills gastronomic palace. Los Angeles,
Los Angeles El Nino Arriving by January
Rain. We rarely see it in Los Angeles. L.A. averages about 14 inches per year. There’s been quite a bit of talk recently about the Los Angeles El Nino due to bring potential downpours beginning just prior to January. We certainly need it, for our reservoirs are depleted and our hills are brown with our years’ long drought. This shouldn’t stop Angelenos and tourists from enjoying our fantastic city. In fact, Glitterati Tours of Los Angeles actually gets busier during a rainy day, for most guests would rather be in a warm car rather than outdoors at a soaking wet amusement park. Visitors can also enjoy our many galleries and museums, great restaurants, The Griffith Park Observatory (views probably won’t

Titans of the Ice Age 3d at The La Brea Tar Pits in L.A.
Adults and kids visiting Los Angeles should definitely make a stop at The La Brea Tar Pits. Glitterati Tours can do a brief introduction to the pits during our “Essential LA” tour, but we recommend guests explore this area on their own before or after their tour. We remind guests that there is quite a bit in our city that can be self-guided. This unique chunk of land in the heart of Hollywood, has produced a treasure trove of ice age fossils. When at The La Brea Tar Pits, make sure to check out The Page Museum, and for a limited time, Titans of the Ice Age 3D. Titans of the Ice Age 3D The La Brea Story Journey to

Hutchinson Cocktails and Grill Restaurant in L.A.
Recently, we were able to enjoy a hot new restaurant in L.A. called Hutchinson Cocktails and Grill. It’s located on La Cienega’s Restaurant Row. (This stretch of road travels through the cities of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, and is loaded with dining spots like Nobu, Matsuhisa, Fogo de Chao, Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Fig and Olive, and dozens of others). Hutchinson is an Indonesian steakhouse, with a large menu selection. Get there early and enjoy one of their signature cocktails like the Malabar, which is vodka, lime, chile, cardamom, and agave. Justin Hopper, the owner, introduced himself and recommended the most popular dishes on the menu. All was fantastic! From the Hutchinson website: …Richard’s wife, and our
Hotel Pickups for Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Tours
The advantage of a private tour is the flexibility for the visitor. Glitterati Tours can pick up guests directly at their hotel in the Beverly Hills, LAX, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, or Downtown L.A. areas. We can also pick you up after your local Hollywood or Beverly Hills experience, whether it’s Universal Studios, Warner Bros., a restaurant, or museum. We often get requests for pickups in Long Beach, Anaheim, Newport Beach and Pasadena, and unfortunately, these areas are just too far out (and with traffic, highly unpredictable) for us to accommodate transportation. We remind potential guests that it’s far more economical to get alternative transportation into the heart of the city. We’ve laid out more on this
