West Hollywood Holiday Bazaar

Black Friday and Cyber Monday may have passed, but many of us still have plenty of holiday shopping to finish up. Since the big deals are done, it’s the perfect time for us all to support local businesses and bring home some unique gifts for our friends and family. Luckily this weekend there is the perfect opportunity for you to find artisanal gifts, as well as try out great cuisine from West Hollywood’s Aeon Botanika Cafe. The cafe, with food by Chef Fred Eric, will be hosting a holiday bazaar featuring local makers selling their own artisanal goods, handmade clothing, jewelry, skincare, and many other eco-conscious products. CicLAvia Meet The Hollywoods

Los Angeles is incredible with its hustle and bustle. While this is great for pumping out entertainment, often times the traffic it brings is not. Try driving around anytime between 7 to 9 in the morning and 5 to 7 in the evening. It gets crazy but you can’t beat the city so we all seem to put up with it. While Metro stations are popping up and being built to hopefully improve the traffic flow, they are doing some great events for the community in the meantime, and on August 18th you can enjoy one! CivLAvia is an event in partnership with Metro that gets the cars off the streets and people walking around exploring. CivLAvia Meet The Hollywoods

Christmas at The Grove Los Angeles

Christmas in Los Angeles has its perks. You can feel your nose, toes, and fingers. You don’t have to worry about blizzards and snow ruining any holiday plans, and there is no running out to your car to start it 15 minutes before you leave anywhere. Really the only downside is we don’t have a natural refrigerator to help keep all the drinks cool when your fridge runs out of space from all of the holiday goodies! That being said, sometimes it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas without a light dusting of snow and a slight crispness to the air. Luckily for us we have zero humidity this time of year and the evening can give you that slight chill

Black Friday Shopping in Los Angeles

Hard to believe, but Black Friday is already here?!  Some avoid it completely, while others love it.  If you’re one that doesn’t mind fighting for parking, fighting the lines, and fighting fellow shoppers, here’s a small list of Black Friday shopping venues in Los Angeles and their locations in relation to local hotels.  We’ve also thrown in some great dining options: The Beverly Center is walkable from hotels like The Viceroy L’Ermitage,  The SLS Beverly Hllls, and The Sofitel.  It’s a huge multi-level mall that just happens to be next to another shopping area called The Beverly Connection.  There’s a handful of brand new restaurants in the center, and places like Cattle & Claw, and Avec Nous are also very
