If you’re not familiar with the term “staycation,” it describes staying in your own city for a vacation. I did so recently, and stayed at the stunning Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The staff was fantastic and the detail to service was impeccable. I ventured out to the streets around Rodeo Drive and the Golden Triangle, that I travel multiple times daily, and I truly felt like a visitor in my own town. Most of the time though, I took advantage of the offerings of the hotel. I utilized their beautiful spa, rooftop pool, and had some amazing food at their fairly new restaurant, Scarpetta. They also have a great afternoon tea, which is a whole lot more than finger sandwiches. There was even a harpist on hand to play Happy Birthday to a guest in my party.
