Things to do for Halloween in Los Angeles and Hollywood

It’s never too early to get the word out on things to do for Halloween in Los Angeles.  Even the local stores have been fully stocked with all things Halloween for over 3 weeks now.  As this holiday picks up steam around the world, keep in mind that there’s no other place that does more to celebrate Halloween than L.A., especially this year, since it falls on a Saturday!

The largest Halloween street party in the world happens in West Hollywood on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Admission is free to this world-famous event, which includes live music and entertainment on multiple stages along Santa Monica Blvd. Put on your Halloween best and come join the party!

The Carnaval runs from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. After the official party is over, most nearby bars and restaurants continue with the festivities until closing time.

Last year’s West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval included six stages of live entertainment, featuring performers including drag-queen old-school hip-hop DJs Chico’s Angels, local fashion writer and singer Jessi Jae and her band The Ruckus and the Queen of the Carnaval—businesswoman and television personality Lisa Vanderpump.
