Things to Do for St. Patrick’s Day in L.A.
Angelenos don’t need an excuse to party. Proof, just look at most bars on a Friday, Saturday, and of course, Sunday Funday. We’re still no Boston, or New York, but there are still plenty of great things to do for St. Patrick’s Day in L.A. Here’s a few for this coming Friday, March 17, 2017:
Farmer’s Market Los Angeles
Visit the Original Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles for an all day festive green party. There will be activities for the children and live music throughout the day, including Irish folk bands and a strolling bagpiper. Stick around for Stuart Marks and the Paddy O’Dors Band, which will hit the West Patio between 7p-9p.
Two of our favorite beer bars include Bar 326, and E.B.’s. Get your traditional Irish meal of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes at Magee’s Kitchen, and wish them a wonderful 100th anniversary while there!
Rock & Reilly’s Pub
As we write this, their annual massive parking lot party is over and done with, having occurred on March 11th. But…St. Patrick’s day will surely be packed to capacity as party-goers will enjoy this Sunset Strip venue in their best green attire.
Want to pub crawl via a short UBER ride away? Look into Irish pub’s Tom Bergin’s and Molly Malone’s which are just south of Sunset on Fairfax Avenue.
Casey’s Irish Pub in Downtown Los Angeles
Casey’s will be throwing their street festival starting at 11AM. Can’t wait till 11? The pub itself will be opening at 6AM! The festival entrance will be at Wilshire and Hope. It’s open to anyone 21 and over. Get free general admission before 330PM. They will have 400 kegs of beer, 1200 bottles of Jameson and Irish fare. Heads up though…no bags allowed, so store your backpack before heading that direction.
Whether it’s St. Patrick’s Day or not, our dedicated team of Glitterati Tours guides of Beverly Hills can showcase the best watering holes in the city during your private tour of Los Angeles and Hollywood.
