It’s that time of year in Los Angeles that the locals love. Endless summers are great, but we also thrive on cooler temperatures, and the upcoming Halloween season. It’s massive here, and we’ll do many upcoming blogs on things to do in Los Angeles for Halloween.
First up…Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2019 is up and running. They kicked it off 2 days ago with a fan appreciation night. Remember, this is the same studio that started the monster movie genre decades ago on their backlot!
Catch this exciting scare fest on select nights between now and November 3rd, 2019. Universal Studios is offering special discounts during the 1st two weekends of this event. If you’re looking for the VIP treatment, check out the R.I.P. Tour. You’ll have an expert guide, special photo ops, unlimited access to all mazes and rides, an exclusive lounge area for drinks and desserts, VIP trolley access to the mazes, VIP seating at the live show, valet parking, and more.
This event grows every year, and 2019 is massive! Look for mazes that include themes like Stranger Things, Jordan Peele’s “Us,” Ghostbusters, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Creepshow, House of 1000 Corpses, The Curse of Pandora’s Box, Holidayz in Hell, and The Walking Dead Attraction.
Outside of the mazes, catch the high-energy live Jabbawockeez as they return for another year.
If you’re frightened by the nightlife that Halloween Horror Nights include, and if you have small children, you can still do a wonderful daytime Universal Studios Hollywood tour without the ghouls.
