Visit the Hollywood El Capitan Theatre
When in Los Angeles, especially with children, visit the Hollywood El Capitan Theatre. This venue debuted in 1926 and is now Walt Disney Studio’s premiere cinema. State of the art technology makes this an incredible movie experience, with digital projectors, and a Dolby sound system with over 100 speakers.
Check the calendar for special events. Often, The El Capitan Experience prior to their screenings can include special props and costumes, as well as incredible live performances with their film characters singing and dancing. In fact, two of our Glitterati Tours team have done numerous shows here over the years, and entertained countless visitors.

Make it a true Hollywood day, for so much is right in the general vicinity. You’ve got the walk of fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, The Dolby Theatre, and a half dozen museums nearby. Our favorite is The Hollywood Museum in the historic Max Factor Building. Adults will love the real deal props and costumes, and kids will surely dig the Dungeon of Doom. This exhibit even has the original jail cell set from “Silence of the Lambs.”
Dining in the area is plentiful, including a delicious In N Out Burger one block away on Sunset Blvd.
